Got a used T3500 from Staples and cannot seem to create Quicksets. I’m guessing that option is enabled/disabled in either “Extended Customizations Mode” or “Enable Custom Menu”.
I tried the factory 2nd level code “5494” but it doesn’t work.
I cannot find a way to restore it to factory settings. Is it possible?

You will probably have to go into the pre-boot menus and format the harddrive. Search for a service manual online as it will provide all the steps required.

The method described in the service manual directs you to do a “Secure Disk Erase” in the service utilities menu from a normal boot. The issue is that I do not see it. I see “Disk Wipe DoD 5220.22-M” and did an insecure mode, but that did not allow me to make a quick set.
Any other ideas?
