HP DesignJet T3500 36-in Production Multifunction Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have many machines that are not feeding smaller size paper like 17" wide 3" core paper through the machine into the stacker. Most of the time it is when the stacker is full. But there will be the one time where it will monumetally jam and keep feeding the paper for a while and the paper bows up starts hitting the carriage and tearing the paper all through the machine. The printer carriage will make 2-3 passes ripping up the paper. Where the jam is occouring is right as it is coming out of the second star wheel assembly into the stacker. It looks like it catches but nothing seems to be caught when i remove the paper. I have serveral machines doing this. But the one that is the most occouring is the T3500. It is just on smaller sizes. Not on anything over 17". I looked to see if there was something in the paper path. Took the star wheel assembly out to see if it was causeing the issue. Nothing was out of place. Could it be the paper drive wheels are too dry and not giving it enough pressure to push it through?> I noticeed that the small rolls "curl" a little more than wider paper but it isn't signifigant. Not like "taco" folding lol 20220812_090535.jpg

Check the starwheel assemblies closely to make sure none of the wheels are damaged or missing as this can cause buckling or cause the leading edge of the paper to jam.
