Designjet T7100
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

A colleague expressed the belief that the side-to-side wobble the Designjet T7100 demonstrates while printing is a built-in feature necessary for the proper operation of the print head shuttle.  I've never seen anything to this effect in the literature: is there any validity to his claim?  This came up when we were considering removing some T7100s from their factory stands to place them on shelves.

Thanks for your help.

Most of the time when we see wobble on a plotter it is due to bolts not being properly tightened down.
