T795 black only printing on mylar

Evaluating purchase of T795 to be used by engineering app (CAD), to print cutting die designs using black only on mylar media

• Is mylar media type supported on this model?
• if so, can black only be used to print on mylar?
• If so, do all cartridges need to be loaded to print or can I only install the black color cartridge?
• Would you recommend another model for this case use? (Needs to be 44 inch)

Hi,

Mylar media isn't supported for this printer. You may select plain paper/Photo Glossy Matt Paper and try print.

- Direcly not supported, could you please share any snap of paper.

• if so, can black only be used to print on mylar?

- If roll paper you can loaded, you can do print only black.

• If so, do all cartridges need to be loaded to print or can I only install the black color cartridge?

- Yes, you need to inserted all ink cartridge into the invisual ink color with minimum ink for initialize the printer, Then you may select only black print. You can't insert only black ink cartridge into printer.

• Would you recommend another model for this case use? (Needs to be 44 inch)

- Yes may try  through HP Designjet Z5600PS Printer.
