Hello,

my HP DeskJet T120 printer was working fine before I removed and cleaned the print head. now I receive this error:

"There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn printer off, then on. If problem persists, contact HP."

I tried: (1) different HP ink cartridges, (2) resetting the printer using the Service menu, (3) reloading the latest firmware.

how do I recover from this error?

Have a look at the print head if you see ink in there you most likely will need a new printhead.

there was a leaking ink cartridge, but that was replaced. the print head is now clean.
