Hello together,
I'm working in a medium-seized company in structural-engeneering. We do structural engeneering calculations and it's associated plans.
These plans come in large formats: DIN A2 (594x420mm), DIN A1 (841x594mm), DIN A0 (1189+841mm).
Before we used Adobe to open our plans in PDF and print them with processable printing-settings. Things worked fine there, because the printer understood that the plans fits it's papersize on point.
Now we use HP Click. The programm and printer work fine together and we can print.
But I don't understand why HP CLick and the printer can't work right with the DIN formats.
The problem is that we design our plans in DIN formats and the printer thinks these are to big to print. HP Click adds cutlines on one side and leaves a wierd border on the other side. It's like the programm doesn't understand that the format fits exactly.
And our plans come with a border, so the printer doesn't even need to add that.
The paper and the plan fit each other, but the orange color shows cutting waste.
Plan-size is 594mm and paper roll is 594mm, too. Why does this happen?
Do you guys understand my problem?

You;re much welcome @omenche,
The option available either by the driver or by HP Click, the language challenges doesn't help much 😜, but I'm quite sure this is below icon within the Layout section, please hover it and verify its tooltip infomation (although I might be wrong and the option already selected is the one..:
If it is not the option, from the driver itself select Printing Preferences, there you would see the option within the Layout dialog.
And additionally, one other information I would like to verify, did you performed an actual printout or only rely on the markups on the preview?

Hi,
Please clarify if I read your information correctly, that you would like to print till the edge of the paper 594mm width on a 594mm wide roll, which equals Borderless / full bleed printing.
As I can see from your pictures, you use a Matte paper (Assuming I correct due the language differences) while Borderless printing is supported on Glossy media option which explains this behavior, as well as the alert mark shown near the paper icon which indicates a conflicting setting or media usage

Also including HP Click user guide which explains the software usage and options, please check from Page 15 which covers this kind of information:

Please let me know if that helps, else please clarify your printer model too in order to better understand its capabilities.

Our printer model: HP DesignJet T795 44in V4
Is it impossible to set the printer to borderless, if I don't use glossy paper (glossy media option)?
We print on Matte paper only.
I think the option is set to print borderless: (border is set to 0mm, so there shouldn'T be a border)

Thanks for clarifying @omenche
A Designjet T795 printer does not support border-less printing at all, while generally this is supported on Glossy Paper only indeed, whenever supported by a printer.
Please try selecting the Clip content by margins option within HP Click, this should resolve the conflict:
Also, be sure to uncheck the Cutting Lines option, as else it will be printed within the minimum margins.

Can I apply these settings in HP Click or do I need to change the settings within the printer?
Because I don't see these options in HP Click.
edit*
I checked that the option for Cutting lines is off.
But I still don't see the option for Clip content by margin.
If you know which option it is, could you mark it on one of my pictures from HP Click?
And big thank you @ShlomiL. You've been a great help so far.

I tried your marked setting and it work out for me.
ANORNDNUNG = layout -> gives the options 1) Druckränder (create borders) or 2) Rand beschneidet Druckbild (bortder cuts into printed image)
I tried the second setting and I think it's the option you meant.

Indeed it make sense to be the same option, comparing automatic translation differences 😉
Great to hear that it resolve the problem and doesn't cut the non-printable area following the change.
Cheers,
Shlomi
