HP DesignJet T210 24-in Printer

Hi everyone,

Would anyone know if the cutter on the HP would cut canvas. I have one project to do and have a roll of canvas but don't want to damage the printer. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated.

Cheers

I'm pretty certain the T210 will not cut canvas.  What kind of canvas medium are you using?  Is this the HP canvas on a roll?  Or just some generic canvas?

If you have the owner's manual it should mention it in there.  If you don't have one, you can download a PDF version from this website.  Go to Support Resources at the top of this page.

I don't work for HP....I just repair their printers.

Hi there,

thanks so much for getting back to me. I have a 320gsm generic canvas on a roll. I'll consult the manual as you suggest and while I'm there I'll see if there's a way to "turn off" the cutter if it's not going to be able to cut it.

Thanks D. Hook
