Product: HP DesignJet Z3200 44-in Photo Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi
The printer throws a system error 87:10 / 0x16070001 when I try to print a file.
The docs say this is related to reading the encoder strip. Service manual says:
„ Upgrade the firmware. - I am on TR12-RB_16.0.0.1 which is the latest
„ Clean the Encoder Strip. - I cleaned the strip several times as shown in the service manual. Visually the strip looks clean and undamaged.
The Scan Axis diagnostics from the service menu completes OK. Does that rule out any of the remaining actions below?
„ Replace the Encoder Strip ⇒ Page 6-91.
„ Replace the Carriage PCA ⇒ Page 6-138.
„ Replace the Trailing Cables ⇒ Page 6-92.
I am grateful for any help about the next steps.
