I have a Z5400 that will not finish init , it gets to 93% then displays switching power off, please wait, never powers off.

i have removed carts & print heads, same outcome, in the service mode I ran the file system check & got an 08:04 and displays please check for latest firmware release. my firmware is CH_08_02_00.1.

I downloaded the latest firmware to a usb drive, how can i install it to the printer when the printer will not finish the init process & I cant get to it through a computer.

Any help would be appreciated.

The HDD that stores firmware is starting to fail or already failed. You can try to run an HDD recovery from the Service menu hoping that will help, but it's very likely you will need to replace HDD with firmware.
