DesignJet Z9
Other

Hi - I am an artist researching the specs of inks before I purchase the Designjet Z9.

I need to work with prints that are not fast drying and it seems dye based ones are slower than pigment... (no?)

So... I want to know if the inks the Designjet takes (746 & 747) are dye based or pigment.

I've looked at the specs and it says 'Compatible ink types - pigment based'. so I suppose I should presume that means their pigment based?

Would really appreciate someones expert knowledge!

They are all pigment-based.

You can check for any individual ink cartridge under Technical details from HP supplies store link
