The IP Address on the printers configuration page, does the first three groups of numbers match the numbers for your desktops IPv4 address? Example 192.168.1. x

is your internet router near the 1050c? your ethernet cable should go from the router to the back of the card on printer.

What is the card # on back of printer? jetdirect 610n, 615n, 620n

if you are not going to use the printer wirelessly, don't use the card and ethernet cable.
