Designjet t1200

hi forum

i have a T1200 that has a faukty drive.

While ia ma waiting fo rmy new drive to arrive i use the drive from my  office T1200 to try and get my clients T1200 running. i have doe this many times with many designjets

But!!!!

The drive from my printer causes a 59.02 error on the client T1200.

i know this means the part is usupproteed or used.

i am suspecting a firmware clash here.

any one had any success getting past this error?

I has same problem with my Z3200 rev B 44". this error related with print mech board. I swapped hd & got this error,

if I used the same print mech board where the hd was, no error.

I still could not figure out how to fix or fool it, in order to pass. I still have one machine I am not be able to pass this error & resting with dusts.

But last Z3200ps 44" I fixed with a hd from my friend & it worked after 2 errors.

The only solution I guess was get the virgin hd.
