hp 5500i

Hi
has anyone ever solved a printhead (hp83) reseat issue

I have a hp 5500 bought a new black printhead asked me to reseat constantly (didn't get to use the printhead) got another one and it is saying the same thing.

There has been another post on the community asked if it ever got solved but not heard back yet.

Desperately need some help with this if anyone is willing

Best wishes

The printer monitors pressure inside printhead if you have air in black ink tube that could be a reason printer is giving you reseat message.

Hi Thanks for your reply

I have used a syringe on the black printhead tube no air very tight as I have replaced the small nozzle on the black printhead carriage. its all tight and feels like new.

I have also drawn ink through the printhead itself to make sure there is no air

I am now at a loss of what this could be

error code 5006 reseat

Even on my old printhead it is saying the same which it never used to

Thanks
