I am getting an error message it says  Supply System Problem this rotates from cyan to magenta i have clean all the tips and heads that i can. Because of this code the printer wont even let me go into a clean mode. I have tried doing the resets and everything i can find online. Has Anyone Ran into this issue?

Ah, the dreaded “Supply System Problem” on the HP DesignJet T830 — that one is notoriously persistent. Since you’ve already cleaned what you can and tried resets, let’s go step by step and break down what this usually points to.

Since you’ve already cleaned tips and done resets, here’s the next level:

A. Check cartridges thoroughly

  • Make sure all cartridges are genuine HP. Third-party cartridges often trigger this error.

  • Remove each cartridge and reinsert slowly, ensuring it clicks in place.

  • Check for protective tape that might still be on a new cartridge.

B. Check printhead

  • If the heads are removable, take them out carefully.

  • Check for dried ink, scratches, or cracks. Sometimes a small scratch on the contacts triggers this error.

  • Even if cleaned, some stubborn clogs may need a full printhead replacement.

C. Carriage and contacts

  • Inspect the metal contacts in the carriage.

  • Use a lint-free cloth or alcohol wipe to clean gently.

  • Make sure nothing is physically blocking the carriage’s movement.

D. Firmware reset/service mode

  • Sometimes you need a full service mode reset to clear a “phantom” error.

  • On the T830, this usually requires accessing the service menu (not just the standard reset).

  • This is often best done with HP support guidance because a wrong reset can lock the printer further.

E. Sensor / internal issue

  • If the error persists with good cartridges and clean printheads, the ink level sensor or carriage sensor might be faulty.

  • This will require a service call or replacement part.

Please keep me posted on this and let me know if this resolves your issue, or if you require any further support.
