What could be the problem? I replaced the print mech board but it didn't work. Could it be a psu problem? Or a had problem?

There should be some LEDs on the back by the power cord plug.  When you turn on the printer, what colors are showing?  That will indicate the status of the power supply.  Do you have a service manual for the printer?

I see on the picture you posted a possible error code 3:10, which does point to a problem with the power supply.

I don't work for HP....I just repair their printers.

If you have trouble finding the SM for that model, look at the SM for the Designjet 4500.  It's a very similar machine and will show other LEDs to look for on the print mech board that will help trouble shoot the problem.  The PSUs are almost identical between the two machines.  Here's a link to the 4500 SM:  https://www.laserexpressinc.com/manuals/HP/hp-dsj-4500-service-manual.pdf

(I couldn't find a SM for the D5800.)
