DesignJet T730
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

We have two T730s and one T520 connected to the network and use one Windows PC to print to them.  We'd like to be able to print to all three printers at the same time using the HP Instant Printing Application, but this doesn't seem possible.  We have to wait for the first print to finish before we can select another printer.  Is there a way around this using the HP Instant Printing App?  Or a printing app that is similar?

Some background info.  We run a small print shop on a college campus and take files from clients.  Their files aren't always sized properly and using the new DesignJets, we've been running into issues rotating images and getting them to print correctly from Powerpoint and Adobe products.  We are far from a "professional" shop.  We never had issues with rotating and resizing on the old 510s and 800s we just replaced.

Thank you,

Ryan

Hi Rayan,

The HP Instant Utilities does not have an options to print to all three computers at the same time.  The reason why  is because the HP Instant Utility works as a driver, establishing bidirectional communication with the printer, which first file is sent to print, once the printer processes all the packets you will be able to print the next job to a different printer.

In regards to the Orientation issues you have reported with the drivers, I would suggest check on the settings you are using in the app HP instant Utility and compare them with the settings in the driver for each product, then apply those settings to see how does it work.

No sure if you are having orientation with any file or an specific paper size in particular, however if you provide more details about the paper sizes and setting I can help further.
