Designjet L25500
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought six new heads, had them installed in my L25500 printer but the LC head keeps asking to be reseated, if i switch the two heads i get the same problem but the head reads in the other slot, just this one slot keep asking for a reseat.

Would i need to replace the carriage any one has any ideas ?

HI,

Could be that the electronic connections behind the Printhead (Flex Cables) need a cleaning so they contact better.

Also, it is not unheard of to receive PH's that dont work. (Try another)

After that then I would replace, in order, the Flex Cables (comes as Carriage Cover), Carriage PCA, Trailing Cable.

Good Luck,

Roy K
