Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone, I'm having trouble setting up our HP DesignJet 500, i've got 99% to success. when i send the test print it gives me this message on the plotter's front panel:

 

Warning: 61:05, Error Processing Job. Flushing rest of Job.

I installed the hpdj510wumglen driver for win10 that i got from your website. I did everything i know; set-up IP address on LAN, set-up auto detect IP address also, and now using my USB2 port for direct connection, and got this message.

 

I'm using a Windows 10, 64 Bit, Lenovo Edge 73 pc.

Here’s the rest of the plotter's info: HP DesignJet 500 42-in Roll Printer. Model No C7770B

Look at the installation instructions tap.

Before doing that. Make sure you remove the driver completely from the computer. Including Server Properties

Unfortunately hp does not a pcl driver for windows 10 64 bit. Below is the windows 7 64 bit driver which may work. After you download and run the exec, change the directory to C:\500 and hit unzip. When you change the driver or reload the printer do not the auto detect or query the printer but get to the makers page and then say have disk and then navigate to the C:\500 directory and choose the inf file that is listed and see if it work. Report back so others will know.

This driver does not work with Windows 10. When I try to print a test page, I get an error "The test page is printed incorrectly." Open the print troubleshooter? "
When I use the driver "hpdj510wx64glen", the test page goes to the printer, but the error message appears on the printer's display "Error 61:05 Error Processing Job".

The printer is connected via the network.

Your only solution is to purchase an hp gl2 accessory card for the plotter.

The gl2 card will work with the driver that is available.
