Hi,
Problem: Blue Screen Error B3320C36 for HP DesignJet T120/T520 Printer.
Please at first try isolating the printer, remove inks, printhead, connectivity cables, another power outlet and then turn the printer on.
Main reason for the Encrypted Chip, which is not orderable to HP. That's why need order whole main board.
If still problem persist, please replace the Main PCA and Encrypted Kit. That is the proper channel.
Main PCA for HP DesignJet T520 Printe (P/N: CQ890-67097 ) - 36"
Main PCA for HP DesignJet T520 Printe (P/N: CQ890-67023) - 24"
Main PCA for HP DesignJet T120 Printe (P/N: CQ891-67019)
PartSurfer: https://parts.hp.com/hpparts/Search_PS_Result.aspx?mscssid=B9CF7D86E05B48369FADE20CFBEBD9D8
It is my understanding that the new Main PCA should come with the USB with the FW. Make sure it is there before installing the new main PCA.
If problems with the FW, will not recommend you to use the old USB with the firmware again.
If not covered under warranty you may replace Encrypted chip which is failed on the mainboard inside the printer you can buy it on ebay:
HP DJ T520: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HP-Designjet-T520-Blue-Screen-Error-Solution-Encrypted-chip/282230954091
HP DJ T120: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HP-Designjet-T120-Blue-Screen-Error-Solution-Encrypted-chip/282211348454?_...

Rashed

I've had service calls on over a dozen T520 with similar error codes. The last one was BA7E70E6. The 'B' codes harkens back to the day when I routinely saw this type of error on the old 1050c\ 1055cm models. I used to tell customers you have the 'error code of death'. In more technical terms, the Main PCA Board has a defective chip or routine call somewhere on it and needs to be replaced. Replacing the (CQ890-67023 CQ890-60251 CQ890-67097) has resolved the error for me.
Service Manual replacement procedure:
During this time, I serviced contract and warranty calls within the Northern Indiana area. When I left HP, I took my HP Designjet service experience and started my own business servicing out of contract plotters. Designjetpartsfast.com was launched in 2009. With over 20 years Designjet experience, I can help you resolve issues you are experiencing with your Designjet Printer.
