I am using a Polycom 650 with firmware 3.3.4 and I am having a problem with the directory. As soon as the
{mac}-directory.xml files goes over 100k the directory no longer appears on the phone. If I delete a few entries from the file to get it below 100k then the directory entries are back on the phone. I have not found any settings that control the allowed file size. I have tried adding dir.local.contacts.maxNum="9999" but it has made no difference. I also saw that firmware 3.2 supports these commands:
dir.local.nonVolatile.maxSize.2meg="200"
dir.local.nonVolatile.maxSize.4meg="200"
dir.local.nonVolatile.maxSize.8meg="200"
but the 3.3 firmware does not. Does anyone know how to increase the size. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hello jdd49,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
This is the normal behavior as the Phones like the 650 only accept around 100kb filesize and the smaller phones like the 32x/33x only around 50kb.
You could attempt to use:
dir.local.volatile="1"
Above should enable you around 200kb but may affect the performance if other things like additional ringtones etc. are loaded.
The correct way forward would be to utilize an corporate directory or use less characters for the names.
For further support please work with your Polycom reseller.
