A customer wanted to use separate icons for Speed Dials when utilizing a Poly Trio.
The ability for this was added in Trio UC Software 5.8.0 using the <up/> user photo field within a Speed Dial.
- Copy the relevant Icons on the provisioning server using PNG images that are 106 x 106 pixels with a size of 100 KB or smaller. The maximum image size you can upload is 200 x 200 pixels, however, the phone automatically scales the icons to 106 x 106 pixels.
- Define the configuration parameter icons.x. Example icons.1=”photo.png”
- Open the Speed Dial file containing the contact and add the <up> part:
<item> <fn>Help</fn> <ln>Desk</ln> <ct>1234567890</ct> <sd>1</sd> <up>1</up> </item>
