How can I disable the Content Sharing Graphic on a Compatible Poly RealPresence Trio

Utilizing the attached and below described configuration allows to control this.

  • When mr.bg.showWelcomeInstructions="TextOnly",
    then the attached TV UI shows only the welcome message and hides content sharing graphic/image.
  • When mr.bg.showWelcomeInstructions="None",
    the attached TV UI hides both content sharing graphic/image and welcome message.
  • When mr.bg.showWelcomeInstructions="All"(the default),
    the attached TV UI shows both content sharing graphic/image and welcome message.

<?xml version="1.0" standalone="yes"?>
<!-- Hide content sharing instructions -->
<!-- "TextOnly" hides the content sharing graphic/image -->
<!-- "None" hides both the content sharing graphic and the welcome message -->
<!-- "All" the default, shows both the content sharing graphic and welcome message -->
<changes>
<test mr.bg.showWelcomeInstructions="None" />
</changes>

Simply download the attached configuration, unzip, select the one you require and import via the Web Interface:

  • Utilities > Import & Export Configuration > Choose File > Import
