I have a new phone that is giving the following error on boot- "File system error: Corruption detected". There is a Fix option, which causes the phone to try to fix the problem, reboot, and come up with the same message. No other keys seem to do anything.
Is this an issue that can be fixed, or do I need to RMA the phone?

Hello JoshS,
The only solution then is a RMA.

Hello JoshS,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
I have not heard this before on a SPIP. It would be great if you could attach a Picture from the underside so we can verify the manufacturing date etc.

Hello JoshS,
The Unit was manufactured back in 2013 so it may have spend some time on a shelf with a reseller if you just recently bought this or is this a used unit?

Hello JoshS,
I suggest you update it to a currenlty supported software version like UC Software 4.0.8 if not used with LYNC or 4.1.1 if used with LYNC and then check again.

Hello Steffen,
We have experienced the exact same error as Josh has outlined. The rebooting leads to an endless loop, not allowing access to the menu to even try a software upgrade. Do you have any suggestions on how we can proceed?
Thanks so much,
Timothy M.
