VVX 450
Microsoft Windows 11

Have a VVX450 rev.N, that i am testing the intercom feature on. The intercom feature itself works great, even playing with the settings to get a double beep to sound when a intercom comes in i got to work. I found another setting, call.autoAnswer.micMute, which going by the the name and description should mute on auto answer, but it doesn't seem to work when using intercom. Decided to test that setting with the regular auto answer and it answered muted, which in turn made me realize that this setting might not work for intercom calls.

My question is am i using that setting correctly? Is there a setting for the intercom auto mute? If so, what is it?

Hello @bkolenda ,

Welcome to the HP community.

Unfortunately, your post does not contain the currently used Software version for the HP Poly product, the HP Poly Software, or the Partner application you are using.

This is important especially in the future when someone finds this post in days, months, or years to come.

Please do not simply edit the original post but reply with the versions.

Is this UC Software or ObiEdition and also is this using the actual Intercom feature or push to talk?

If an issue like this cannot be resolved via a public community post, please work with our support organization in your region. Details on how to contact us are in my signature

Wrote it down still neglected to put it in the ticket.

The VVX 450 has version 5.9.7.12459.

And I am using the Intercom feature, there isn't a plan for us to use PTT.

Hello @bkolenda ,

Posting in the community is not a ticket or related to any support activity. For this, you would need to contact our support organization.

Our FAQ contains:

Aug 19, 2015 Question:Can I set up an Intercom functionality?

Resolution: Please check this post => here <=

I would use the above to verify what setting has been used.

For example the

voIpProt.SIP.alertInfo.1.class

could be ringAnswerMute

If you need any more details, and no other volunteer answers I suggest you contact our Support organization in your region.

Details are in my Signature.

Best Regards
