Hello,

 

I want to only display the users line, boss-admin line and call pickup group on the main display without having the contacts.

I have scoured loads of documents but I cant find anything which describes how to program the phone to show the delegates status and being to make a call on behalf of the delegate

Hello Ruspy,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

The Boss / Admin functionality must be setup via the LYNC Client and is then automatically added to the phone.

 

Please have a look at some of your older posts that received replies and follow these up if possible.

This issue is that all the list of favouties push the boss admin line off the main display.

I need to know how to overcome this

Jan 12, 2012 Question: Can I change / re-assign the appearance of  Line, BLF, Speed Dial and Presence Keys?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

 

This will enable you to assign just the Line and then the LYNC client will push the Delegates and no favorites will be displayed.

 

If this is not sufficient there is currently no way to individually move the Delegates instead of Favorites and you will need to raise a feature request via your Polycom reseller.

I have checked this document and there isnt anything in there for flexible key assignment which explains how to configure a boss admin button.

 

I just simply need to know how to do this

Hello Alan,

 

as already replied in my above answer there is NO way to move Delegates around via the flexible linekey feature.

 

All you can do is disable aka not set the Presence contacts which represent the Favorites and therefore only see the line and the automatically populated delegates.

 

If you want to request a change for this behaviour you need to follow up as already posted.
