ccx 500

Is the older updates using the USB drive still available for the CCX500 phones? We have a mix of 500 ccx400 and ccx500 phones on release 7.0 and were looking for something a little quicker than the WEB updates.

the above article does not have a note that this is no longer possible.

 

If no other volunteer replies, and if you have any follow-up questions that cannot be answered by simply trying this I suggest you contact our Support organization in your region. Details are in my Signature.

We were able to get this working. Seems the Poly phones do not like USB 3.0 drives. I had a few old cheap drives that do work. 
Having said that, it will not look at them during boot. The phones need to be up and running.

the USB provisioning, depending on what SKU the phone is in, will most likely only work once the Password prompt is displayed.

 

This is working as designed. If you want full automation I suggest you look at either a local provisioning server or our free Poly Lens cloud solution.
