Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Pavilion 23-p114 desktop does not seem to have an audio input jack for sound levels that might be to high for the mic input. The mic input jack is located on the left side, but does not clearly indicate a high level input jack.

That is not a line-in. Option: you can use USB sound card which has line-in for Audacity OR you can simply use microphone
