I recently had reset my computer while it was operating windows 10 and when I had done so the audio had just gone with the reset. It won’t unmute and when I try to troubleshoot the problem it says there is none. I’ve watched multiple tutorials on how to fix this issue and none of them worked. I tried uninstalling or updating the audio drive both of which can’t work because when I go into the device manager systems nothing shows up for audio. I’ve tried reinstalling Realtek audio via the official website which also did not work at all. I even tried resetting the computer, fully, again. And trying to restore and old version of windows and nothing works. And I don’t know what to do. I am aware that my model of computer is very old and my may have to purchase a new desktop. But, I would rather avoid that situation at all costs especially if there is an easy fix for this problem.

Hi:

If your PC came with the IDT audio system, see if installing this W10 IDT audio driver and restarting the PC, gets the sound to work again.

This package provides the Tempo High Definition Audio Driver for supported desktop models that are running a supported operating system.
