Hi,

 

Recently I have bought the HP EliteDisplay E243d dockingstation. I have connected it with my MSI laptop and the quality is splendid. However, the monitor has an audio input on the back. I have tried several YouTube video's and guides as to get the audio functioning. My question is, does my monitor have speakers and if so how in the world do I get my laptop sound played on those speakers?

Hi,

The Monitor does not have any speakers...  There is an Audio Output Jack on the side that can help to connect the monitor to a set of speakers.
