Hi  @Magesh_416,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand how  it must feel to have your Bluetooth headphones disconnect right when you’re trying to enjoy your game.

Could you please share the exact HP laptop or desktop model you’re using?

In the meantime, here are some steps you can try:

1.Update Bluetooth Drivers

Outdated drivers can cause sudden disconnections when launching games.

Go to Device Manager → Bluetooth → Right-click your adapter → Update driver

Choose Search automatically for drivers

Restart your PC after updating

If no update is found, visit HP Support site for your model

2.Check Sound Output Settings

Windows may switch audio output when a game launches.

Go to Settings → System → Sound → Output

Ensure your Bluetooth headphones are selected as the default output

Click Device properties and confirm volume is not muted

3.Disable Hands-Free Telephony

Some Bluetooth headsets switch to low-quality mode when apps request microphone access.

Go to Control Panel → Devices and Printers → Right-click your headphones → Properties → Services

Uncheck Hands-Free Telephony

Reconnect your headphones

Test again by launching the game

4.Run Bluetooth Troubleshooter

Windows built-in troubleshooter can automatically detect and fix issues.

Go to Settings → Update & Security → Troubleshoot → Additional troubleshooters → Bluetooth

Run the troubleshooter

Apply any recommended fixes

Restart your PC before testing again

These steps often resolve Bluetooth audio dropouts during gaming.

I hope this helps.

I'm an HP Employee.
