/@fugi00 --  i have 4pin headphone so i don't need adapters. Headphone work as well in phone or other device with combo jack port./

 

Its normal headset from mobile phone.

and it does not matter, any others also do not work properly, i.e. microphone + headphones. They work only the old type that have two separate cables, one for headphones and the other for the microphone but I want the combo to work! I have 5 hp 8300 computers and they all have this problem. Can anyone from HP confirm if this combo works at all in this model
