HP All-in-One - 24-df0157c
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

outlined in red is all the information about the driver in question and its features (on my old Acer PC). I cannot find the driver on Realtek or HP sites (HP doesn't list any drivers of any sort for my PC). along with the driver, the Realtek HD audio manager is also useful to have a lot of options and easier customization.

I am unsure as to why HP doesn't show any drivers whatsoever for my system, or why I can't seemingly find the driver which I've had on two separate PCs before this one.

If you already have the driver installed, updating will not change that, except in some cases
Driver not matching, sound control panel removal
read the document carefully
and see this, don't change anything, it's just for you to find if you have a control panel or not

hi

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-all-in-one-pc-24-df0000i/37592630

you will find the audio drivers here
You will not find the same control panel, because each computer has its own panel specific to the model, and to the manufacturer
See the documentation here

User Guide

Using sound settings
Use sound settings to adjust system volume, change system sounds, or manage audio devices.

To view or change sound settings:

Type control panel in the taskbar search box, select Control Panel, select Hardware and Sound,
and then select
Sound.
Your computer might include an enhanced sound system by Bang & Olufsen, B&O Play, or another provider. As
a result, your computer might include advanced audio features that can be controlled through an audio
control panel
specific to your sound system.
Use the audio control panel to view and control audio settings.

Type control panel in the taskbar search box, select Control Panel, select Hardware and Sound,
and then select the audio control panel
specific to your system.

I am unsure if it worked as I have tested two different drivers from the link and they said they were installed, yet the device manager and speaker properties don't show any change. and none of the enhancements appear when in speaker properties window.

my main interest is the enhancements as they provide a lot of options for modifying sound. i don't even have an equalizer which is one of the most basic features.
