Hi team,
After not being able to access my laptop, I was finally able to access again. I had reinstalled Windows 10 because the computer was running quite slow. As a result, "windows found drivers for your device, but encountered an error while attempting to install them: IDT High definition Audio Codec"
I uninstalled and rebooted which provided the above message. I then attempted to download this driver sp71717 based on a recommendation for another user, but this didn't work for me.
Am I doing something wrong, or is there a more recent driver that I should be installing?
Many thanks in advance,
DominiqueSydney

Hi:
sp71717 is only for HP desktop PC's with the IDT audio.
The only suggestion I can offer would be to try the notebook version of the driver from the link below...restart the PC after installing the driver.
