Hi. I have a very new PC that worked fine on audio until I updated Windows from Ver 1809 to Ver 1903. Big mistake as now there is no audio. To be precise, when using the rear audio input I can see that the signal is being seen by the PC, but there is now no audio output to my speakers. Please Could anyone advise?

Please download and perform a CLEAN install of the following Synaptics HD Audio Driver software

 

   https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp98001-98500/sp98201.exe

A big 'thank you' for sorting my audio issue. The download and a few tweaks in audio setup got things working again.
