For reference, I am using the HP Pavilion gaming laptop.

Recently, I've been having issues with my mic when playing a game where it would not work, so I followed a tutorial online to fix it, which it did, but now I hear myself echo every time I talk, click my mouse, or type. I'm pretty sure it is an issue with my microphone since it doesn't do it when the mic is disabled but when I enable the microphone array from the control panel, I get an echo. For my microphone, I use the built in microphone array and the built in speaker. It is really frustrating as I am unsure of how to fix it and any time I enable the microphone I just hear myself which can make it hard to use voice chat when playing with friends.

Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.
