Can powered speakers with subwoofer be connected to the headphone jack? Computer does not have audio out. HP says yes but did not sound very sure. Thanks

Thanks. I have two speakers with a sub woofer that is powered. So you are saying it should be ok to plug in these speakers

I hope you enjoy your visit to the HP Support Forums. I understand you are having an issue with audio port. I will be glad to help you.
Per the HP 23-r110 All-in-One Desktop PC Product Specifications, i/o ports left side. There is a headphone/microphone combo port. The speakers you are attaching need the correct type of jack. The Realtek ALC3228-CG can handle 2 speaker to surround sound 4 speaker with base.
