Speakers connected to headphone jack

Hi @cb195,
I hope you enjoy your visit to the HP Support Forums. I understand you are having an issue with audio port. I will be glad to help you.

Per the HP 23-r110 All-in-One Desktop PC Product Specifications, i/o ports left side.  There is a headphone/microphone combo port.  The speakers you are attaching need the correct type of jack.  The Realtek ALC3228-CG can handle 2 speaker to surround sound 4 speaker with base.

Please keep me informed of how things went.

If you require further assistance, let me know and I will gladly do all I can to help you.
