I contacted HP support and they confirmed it is a known issue - there is no article on it at the moment, but they are aware and are working to fix it. I was told that the fix would come via Windows Update, but no ETA on when that is.

Similar problem (although I think the audio devices are the symptom not the cause) with my HP Pro Mini 400 G9 Desktop, ever since a recent update. Windows Audio Services will not start, Error 1067. Tried everything, including reinstalling all drivers and a full reset, to no avail. Seems to be linked to a recent Windows update.

I have a G9 workstation and have the same issue. I have tried a computer reset, but this has no affect. I have a logitech webcam. I am unable to work because of this problem. I hope someone has a fix soon.
My speakers will work if I unplug my Logitech webcam and then reboot. As soon as I plug in my webcam the speakers stop working and will not work again even if I unplug the webcam again.

I have found a temporary solution that works for me.
I unplug my Logi Webcam
I download the Realtek installer for the March version from this link
I then run the installer which will uninstall the current version.
I then restart the computer when prompted.
The Realtek installer comes up and asks to uninstall the driver (again !?) I uninstall it again, but this time I do not restart the computer. In device manager it looks like I do not have a Realtek driver, but I think the older version is still operational.
I plug in my Logi Webcam and it works !
This is only temporary because when I restart my computer all audio stops working and I notice the current version of Realtek has been installed again.

Ya just opened my brand new HP Victus, specifically for work. I use usb yealink headsets all day everyday, and now can't work. Yeah I have cheap bluetooths that will suffice but I bought this for this and may take it back cause I spent too much for it not to be useful for the purposes it was bought. This was to replace my Chromebook, that my yealink headsets, worked seamlessly.

Happening to HP Pro SFF 400 G9 Desktop PC on at least 2 devices ( Win 11)
Seems to be pointing to the realtek drivers installed recently

Unfortunately this still doesn't work on the HP Pro Mini G9 400 PC, the audio service is still interrupted and cannot be started even with the latest drivers, both the audio codec and network interface controllers.
What specific version is it that worked for you?
