I need an audio driver but HP is not listing anything, maybe because of the age. HP audio diagnostics states no speakers found, no microphone found - hardware problem detected. computer is 750-124. windows.

Unfortunately, I don't have any other suggestions for you to try.

I removed the realtek high definition, restarted the computer, checked that it was not in device manager and it wasn't. The taskbar icon shows "no audio output device is installed" and has the red x, this is the same as before. I checked device manager and the realtek high definition is there again with the same yellow exclamation point as before. Any suggestions?
