22-df0023w Hard drive failed. Replaced HD. Reloaded W11
Bios was updated via W11 update
The computer boots into bios update failed cannot find update file counts down 15 seconds and reboots .
Several others have reported the same issue.
Used Windows key + B It resets the bios, but the same failed bios loads.
Downloaded bios from 22-df0023w support site and have on USB drive.
How do I get the computer to boot from USB drive to load a working bios.
This is unacceptable that the computer is bricked by a windows 11 / HP update.

Hi @wluneski
Sorry to see this. It seems, in my opinion, you have a worst case scenario.
Some HP PCs allow creation of bootable USB BIOS update media. You would have to run the BIOS update you downloaded on a different PC to see if you can create this media. But you need the correct MB SSID 86F2 BIOS file to try this with your MB
This HP Site shows your PC's specs. Your PC has the MonkD MB.
This HP Site shows specs for the MonkD MB. Look in Motherboard Description. The MonkD MB SSID is 86F2.
What MB SSID BIOS update did you download from this HP Site? I don't see a MB SSID 86F2 BIOS update offered at this site.
It looks like you got an incorrect HP BIOS update from Windows Update.
I can't find a MB SSID 86F2 BIOS update for your PC. I would suggest a fix may not be possible or it is out of my paygrade without having the correct BIOS file for your MB.
Maybe a PC tech could edit the EFI System Partition to remove the faulty BIOS update .bin and .sig files. This is assuming the MB BIOS EEprom has not been corrupted by the faulty BIOS update.
Check this HP Forum Thread for ways to edit the EFI System Partition. This thread is very lengthy and involved.
