5 beeps and no screen image , no start . Tried everything i found online , nothing helps.

Power button LED blinks 5 times with 5 beeps  --  Memory

 

LED blinks 5 times  --  Main-Board  --  General Main-Board failure.

2014 computer , i get nothing on screen , and 5 red led beeps followed by 2 second pause then 5 more beeps . Thats all it will do .

Hi:

 

Most likely it's a bad memory chip or the memory needs to be removed and reseated.

 

Consult the service manual for your PC for how to remove and replace the memory.

You can use this troubleshooting procedure...

 

Red Power LED flashes five times, once every second, followed by a two second pause.

 

Beeps stop after fifth iteration but LEDs continue until problem is solved.


Pre-video memory error.

 

CAUTION: To avoid damage to the DIMMs or the system board, you must unplug the computer power cord before attempting to reseat, install, or remove a DIMM module.


1. Reseat DIMMs.
2. Replace DIMMs one at a time to isolate the faulty module.
3. Replace third-party memory with HP memory.
4. Replace the system board
