HP Compaq 8200 Elite CMT PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I need to update the BIOS of an HP Compaq 8200 Elite CMT PC, but i can't find the version  v02.32 (or v02.28).

Unfortunately the link from topic https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Boot-and-Lockup/8200-Elite-CMT-BIOS-update/td-p/7025445 isn't working.

I need that update, because the option Secure Boot is missing from the actual BIOS, and i can't install the Win10 image trough PXE without enabling  Secure Boot.

P.S. On that PC i have a new SSD, whiteout any Windows.

On the product page, the BIOS version for Windows 8 (64x) is still missing.

Hi:

No 8200 Elite's came with the secure boot setting and no BIOS update is going to add that option.

You can find both BIOS updates under the W7 driver section on the support page.

Since you are running W10, use the F10 setup BIOS flash method if you still plan on updating the BIOS.

There is no telling what will happen if you update the BIOS in W10, when the Windows flash method was written to be run in W7.

Thank you, you had right.

After i installed the BIOS version v02.33, i couldn't find the option Secure Boot ... then i can install the Win10 image only in Legacy mode.
