- 90B Error After Upgrading Omen 25L

I recently upgraded my HP Omen 25L GT15-1000i with a Corsair Titan RX 240mm AIO, three Corsair RX120 intake fans, an RTX 5080, and a Corsair RMx 1000W PSU. I connected the iCUE Link System Hub to the CFAN header on the motherboard.
Now, every time I boot up, I get a 90b error saying “The system has detected that a cooling fan is not operating correctly,” and it tries to shut down. I can bypass it, but it’s pretty annoying. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Greetings @Nathan52825
Welcome to the HP Forum.
The 90b fan error you are seeing after installing: retail fans or other cooling components is common.
HP consumer Desktop PCs normally provide no way to tweak BIOS fan settings.
You could try pulling the CR2032 MB battery, wait a while, and then reinstall the battery to reset CMOS. I don't think this will help.
Maybe "Lady Luck" will shine upon you! 😉
You might have to live with the fan startup error.
