same issue, under warranty, have done all the attempts at self repair with the computer itself and with online help....nothing. So, without the hard drive working how does one save or recover personals and files without voiding any warranty issues....does HP save my stuff and return it to me after their in house repair? Ha on that one......gosh, what to do. 🙂
