I am trying to add a video card to my machine, the instructions tell me to disable secure boot and enable legacy boot. https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03653200
However, it looks like the new version of the bios is missing the Legacy boot option.
When I first installed the video card, it had a constant beep, until I disabled the secure boot. Now the computer turns on and seems to start up, but there is no display from either the onboard or the new video card. How do I enable legacy boot, I am tempted to install an old version of the bios, but kind of risky.
Complaint. - Not impressed with the special power supplies now used by HP, no video card power cord by default. I guess you have to special order that. Probably won't buy an HP again because of this.

What model TP01 do you have? The few I looked at have only 180watt power and usually not capable of running a graphics cards. If you obtained one of SATA/ MOLEX to PCIe adapters it will not work on a 180 watt unit
Many HP systems automatically disable the on-board graphics when connecting a graphics card.
What model graphics card did you add?
Disabling the secure boot means you are booting in legacy mode.

The PC must boot using the same mode in which Windows was installed -- and since yours was in UEFI mode, if you were to Force that to Legacy mode, your PC would not longer boot. So trying to force this will not work.

Hello
try to search in the community
There are a few examples, and unfortunately we see that some older graphics cards don't seem to be able to work with newer computers.

Hp does he seem to say anything good ??
this is interesting :
https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Desktops/OMEN-HP-880-051ng-gt-RTX-2070-Super/td-p/7920661
"I went into BIOS, deactivated "Legacy Mode" and activated "Safe Boot" (as I had to do the opposite before for the RTX 3060 Ti to work with the PC first time I swapped cards) and the beeps are gone."
From what I remember, having read here before, sometimes there is no need to change anything
it obviously depends on the graphics cards
