PC was shut down after Windows updat (automatically). When I turned power back on, all I get is a black screen.
I have removed and reseated RAM and Video card. I removed HDD and checked via USB on another computer and it is fine. I removed connectors from otical drive since externally it looks like it is trying to be accessed by CPU or wherever. I eventually removed all of those components and it is the only time I get POST beeps which sound to me like 5 long beeps. With no graphic card and/or with any of the RAM removed, no beeps but the computer looks like it stops after a few seconds and keeps trying to start but never does. No beeps accept when all 4 RAM stick are removed.
I belive the BIOS is AMI Apttio.
PLEASE HELP!!!
