I believe the Boot device it's not finding is the PCIe Disk. When I go into Advanced, Intel Rapid Storage Technology it list to Physical Disks. the 2nd one is the PCIe and it says it's offline. How do I get it online.

Since the BIOS advanced screen does not show the SSD, what does the F2, Diagnostics say about it?
It might be that there is a problem with either the controller or the drive.

A Google-search for "mempek1j016gad" indicates that it is "intel optane memory", with an M.2 interface,
i.e., which is something like a USB memory-stick, but configured to emulate a disk-drive.
So, the BIOS indicates that the device is responding to "what are you" type of plug-and-play requests.
But, you need to run the HP Hardware Diagnostics, to see if the device is actually functioning correctly.

Yes, that is what I meant when referring to the F2 Diagnostics. You need to run the tests. That will not solve the original request about the "Boot device not found" but will tell what might be happening and if the hard drive is good.
Also run the tests with nothing else connected but the monitor and mouse. Verify there are no media cards in the card reader or DVD/CD in the DVD/CD drive.

From the Upgrading and Servicing Guide, the Optane Memory drive is shown as item #4 in the diagram on page 9
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05934592.pdf
So - there is a choice. Remove the Optane Memory and install Windows on the hard drive OR replace the module and reinstall Windows. While I have not had issues with Optane Memory, it appears to be an alternative to using a M2 SSD.
