Hi folks

 

I've struck what appears to be a hardware problem but don't really know what it is that has failed - or if it can be resolved through some software means.

 

Can  you pls let me know what I am looking at - and whether this is something that is easily fixable? Obviously I am getting booted off my PC every now and again - but it is still quite usable most of the time.

 

Any help greatly appreciated!  Gotta go before I get booted again!

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

 

Back up data ASAP.

 

This is a HDD failure warning.

 

You will have to: replace the HDD, reinstall the operating system unless you have operating system disk image backups and bootable recovery media, and move data to the new OS disk.
