Each time I switch on the HP 24 All-in-One PC I get the CMOS checksum BIOS error.
Reinstalled Windows a few times but nothing works.
Also, Support Assistant indicating messages to be read - not showing when I open up the App.
My PC may need to be looked at by a professional and I do have an Extended Warranty.
How would I go about sending it for repair. Tips and advice please!!

Greetings @TeresaM19
Welcome to the HP Forum.
Your PC's MB battery may need replacing.
Replacing a CR2032 MB battery is not too bad to do. But you'll need to disassemble the PC to get to the MB.
Sometimes HP provides AIO PC disassembly instructions. A specific HP Product Number would be needed to check for instructions.
I would try a new MB battery before sending the PC to HP for warranty service.
Or the MB CMOS chip, responsible for storing real time data, has problems.
HP would probably replace the MB if a SMT component has failed.
Contact HP Support at the following Site to start a HP warranty RMA.

Today was the first time I sent my PC off for repair
Never heard of Flextronics before and concerned with the box used to transport my computer 🤔
Didn't get a DPD tracking number, so I can check it's got to its destination - hopefully in the same condition I sent it.
As a matter of interest, what is the turnaround time - they quoted 5th Sept.

Greetings @TeresaM19
Flextronics seems to be a HP Partner.
I'm not familiar with DPD. I would think a tracking number should be issued by any carrier.
Did you insure contents?
I could not comment on your PC's repair turnaround time.

Greetings @TeresaM19
My pleasure.
I haven't shipped a PC to HP for repairs since 2012.
Maybe HP insures the contents both ways if HP covers shipping both ways.
Let the forum know how it all goes down.

Good or bad - I will post the experience I received on here.
That is why I took out an extended warranty - to cover unfortunate events, and for my computer to be repaired.
I have a Laptop and Printer with HP also, as I prefer to have a good support network that is easily accessible (no going round the houses to find a solution).
Kindest regards
