Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi, I have windows 7 64bit installed on my pc and giving me many problems so I want to reinstall windows. So I put windows cd in my pc, restart, press F9, select DVD ROM but then it boots to windows directly. I can boot from USB but I wanna fix the DVD booting problem. Can anyone help me out?

Hi:

 

I have the HP 8200 Elite CMT and in my PC's boot options menu, there is a DVD to boot from, but it won't boot from that.

 

I have to select the device right below that (which is SATA 2), that gets the DVD to boot.

 

I don't know if your PC's boot options menu looks similar.

Hi, even I selected the device right below that (which is SATA 2 but it goes direct to windows 7???

Unfortunately, I don't have any other ideas for you to try.

 

Under the Legacy boot sources, that is where I select the SATA 2 device right below the DVD drive, and my Windows installation media DVD boots right up.

Under the Legacy boot sources, Even I selected the SATA 2 device right below the DVD drive, and my Windows installation doesn’t start and I go right up to windows 7 menu????!!!
