Hi @xena13,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP computer is stuck on a blue screen and you cannot exit it, there are several steps you can take to try to resolve the issue.

  • Restart your computer: Hold down the power button on your HP computer until it turns off, then turn it back on. This may help to clear any temporary issues causing the blue screen.
  • Boot into Safe Mode: If restarting your computer doesn't work, try booting into Safe Mode. This will start your computer with only the essential drivers and services running. To enter Safe Mode, press the F8 key repeatedly as your computer starts up. Once you're in Safe Mode, you may be able to diagnose and fix the issue causing the blue screen.
  • Check for hardware issues: Sometimes a blue screen can be caused by faulty hardware, such as a failing hard drive or RAM. You can use diagnostic tools to check your hardware and identify any issues. HP computers often come with built-in diagnostic tools that you can access by pressing a specific key during startup (usually F2, F9, F10, or Esc). If you're not sure which key to press, check your computer's documentation or HP's website.
  • Run system updates: Sometimes a blue screen can be caused by outdated drivers or software. Make sure your HP computer is running the latest updates by checking for updates in Windows Update.
  • Restore your computer: If none of the above steps work, you may need to restore your computer to an earlier state using System Restore. This will undo any recent changes to your computer's settings or software that may be causing the blue screen. To access System Restore, go to Control Panel > System and Security > System > System Protection > System Restore.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
